Protection coordination review
Verification that protection settings are selective, safe and correctly graded.
Protection coordination review
We review protection settings and coordination.
Mis-coordination is identified and corrected.

Scope in detail

Settings check
We check installed relay settings against the original protection coordination study — or, where no study exists, against calculated correct values — confirming the settings actually programmed into the relays match what the system's fault levels and equipment ratings require.

Coordination
Grading margins between adjacent protection devices are re-verified against current system conditions, since a coordination scheme can drift out of alignment as loads, generation or network configuration change after the original study was completed.

Gaps
Mis-coordination between devices — inadequate grading margin, missing protection zones, settings that don't match current fault levels — is identified and reported with the specific devices and the nature of the gap, so the client's protection engineer can prioritise corrective settings changes.

Report
Findings are compiled into a protection review report with recommended setting revisions where gaps are found, structured so the client can implement corrections directly or use the report as the basis for a follow-on coordination study if wider changes are needed.
