Loss breakdown
Every loss category in the yield model — soiling, wake, electrical, availability, curtailment, degradation — is itemised individually with its own justification, rather than presented as a single combined derate that hides which assumptions are actually driving the result. This lets a reviewer challenge any individual assumption without having to unpick a bundled figure.

Uncertainty
We quantify the uncertainty associated with each component of the yield estimate — resource data, loss assumptions, model accuracy — and combine them statistically into an overall uncertainty figure, rather than applying a single round-number uncertainty regardless of the underlying data quality. Components with genuinely higher uncertainty, such as a short measurement campaign, are weighted accordingly.

Sensitivity
Sensitivity analysis shows how the yield estimate responds to changes in key assumptions — resource dataset choice, loss factors, degradation rate — so the client can see which assumptions the result is most exposed to and focus due diligence effort accordingly. This is more useful to a lender than a single uncertainty number, since it shows where the real risk in the estimate sits.

Methodology
The loss and uncertainty methodology is documented transparently — which standard or industry guidance was followed, how component uncertainties were combined, what assumptions were site-specific versus generic — so a technical advisor can verify the approach independently rather than accepting the output on trust.
